Before I joined the team

Before I joined, there were external resources that phd students had access to and a site map was created after meeting with the heads of the committee.

A basic draft of the site was made using PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript with a landing page, a navigation bar leading students to different resources. After integrating the existing resources, more research was needed to be done to understand what information to place where.

To the existing website, the other graduate assistant and I started adding the other requirements or resources that we understood that students needed. Jamie, the Assistant Director at PhD Hub worked with the other graduate assistant and I to build the content, combine existing resources, and add new ones to the site. We had multiple meetings with her as well as the Director of the PhD Hub to show our progress and design decisions.
